Napatech’s SmartNICs provide full packet capture of network data at speeds up to 100G and support 100% accurate replay of networking traffic, for analysis, testing and simulation. Nanosecond precision time-stamping ensures correct sequencing of packets, even when data from multiple ports is being merged.
For maximum efficiency they use advanced receive-side scaling, enabling full utilisation of CPU cores. They are also capable of slicing and filtering packets of data and removing duplicates, to reduce the load on the server system and applications.
Records are maintained for all flows and reported to your choice of network monitoring application. The cards are designed to be compatible with apps including Wireshark, Suricata, n2disk, Snort, Zeek and TRex.
